Saturday 17th November 2007 Wilson's Chess Festival:
In the U18 Major Seb Lumb was 3rd = with 3.5/5, James West won the U18 minor with 5/5, Philip Knott won the U11 major with 5/5 with Nico Trompetas and Theo Bibby 2nd= with 3.

In the Terafinal Katherine scored 3 wins - a great achievement including beating an 18 year old international! Philip won the U11 prize for the challengers with 4 wins.

The Whyteleafe team made up of castles members win the Wey Valley league cup for the fist time in 14 years. Details.
12th May 2007
Castle's players help Wey Valley win the EPSCA national U11 tournament. Between them Philip Knott, Nathan Heal, Katherine Shepherd and Jason Ying score 11/12 as Wey valley win by 1 point. Details on the Wey Valley website.
